Back to Church Sunday: Sunday 25th of September

We can invite our friends and family to church any Sunday of the year, but Sunday 25th of September is the day we make a special effort to do so.

The 10 am service will be our usual Holy Communion service.

In the afternoon, starting at 4 pm, we will have fun as we worship in a more informal way. Together, we will create our own offering of praise using craft, drama skills and also by listening and writing. We will put all these into a brief service and then round off our time among friends with a ‘bring and share’ tea. We aim to finish at about 5.30 pm.

Please be praying now which service would be the one that suits you better and which you would like to invite friends to. come and share with you.

You don’t have to be a regular at All Saints to come but you can be assured of a real welcome whichever time you prefer to come.

Fruit of the Harvest: Sunday 2nd of October at 10am.

This year in our harvest service we will be looking forward to two different sorts of harvest.

The first one we will be celebrating is our life in God: the fruit he is cultivating in us all the time as we grow in the knowledge and understanding of him and his purpose for us.

The second is to contribute to an earthly harvest in future years in an acre or so of South America. We will buy kits to allow vegetable gardens to be planted in some of the poorer areas in that country. As they crop, the people will have some food to eat and some to sell to earn an income. We will be working with ‘Samaritan’s Purse’, which will provide the trees to the project. ‘Samaritan’s Purse’ is the organisation that sends out the shoeboxes of Christmas gifts.

Please join us at our harvest service prepared to grow spiritually and also to help others materially to grow a better life for themselves.
A garden costs about £15 – let us as a church aim to plant many gardens
